I've just got my little one to sleep and am taking a few minutes to reflect on the day. I love a little reflection, it allows my thoughts to brew like a nice cup of tea and I appreciate and understand them, rather than fleeting ideas that come and go like heavy traffic.
Today was fab. Firstly, I want to say thank you to everyone who got involved, be it sharing my site, commenting on my social, and even ordering. Getting orders on the first day felt affirming, like I'm on the right path.
Next steps I guess are to get this out in front of more people and get a few more designs up. Will shake out my brain in the next few days, see what's rattling around in there.
I do have some other ideas for creating helpful content on the blog, to support mental health and general wellbeing. That is a big part of all of this. I want this to be more than just a shop.
To be completely transparent, I will say a realised a few of the prices needed tweaking as the profit margins were well, non existent. My bad! I thought I'd get in there early and straighten it out before anyone else sees it, so I've updated them this evening. It's not by much, but it makes the difference. Any future changes to price will be announced with a notice period.
I'm sure there are going to be plenty more lessons learned on the way and I am here for it. For me life is too short to sit still, and I can't sit still anyway, I get very twitchy. It's a blessing and a curse.
